A manual press ties up an operator for every plate shift. Fitting a plate shifter and programming the cycle usually costs less than a new press, and it makes the cycle repeatable — which matters more than raw speed on most plants.
We also repair what is already there: worn closing heads, bent pull hooks, tired drives. Where a part was made to a drawing, we machine that part instead of replacing the whole assembly.
