Chamber Filter Press
Plate-and-frame dewatering for construction and industrial slurry.
- Filtration area
- 10 – 250 m²
- Filtration pressure
- 0.6 – 1.6 MPa
- Capacity range
- 5 – 120 m³/h slurry feed
Bentonite and construction slurry from microtunneling drives, screened, desanded and dewatered on site.
Urban microtunneling sites have no room for a settling pond and no time for tanker runs. The plant separates the sand, dewaters the fines and returns clear water to the slurry circuit.

The plant stands on a steel platform behind the shaft, so muck skips keep the road and the crane radius clear. Sand is stacked separately, the cake leaves the site by truck and the filtrate returns to the slurry tank.
Each stage is selected around the slurry and the disposal route.
A vibrating screen takes out stones and debris so the cyclones and the press stay clear.
Hydrocyclones and a sand screw cut the sand fraction and stack it separately.
Flocculant is dosed in line so the fines form flocs that will not blind the cloth.
Chamber presses dewater the conditioned fines into a transportable cake.
Clear filtrate returns to the slurry tank, which keeps the make-up water small.
Equipment is configured around the capacity, solids concentration and target cake moisture of your project.
Plate-and-frame dewatering for construction and industrial slurry.
Squeeze dewatering for higher dry solids and shorter cycles.
Automated filtration cycles for continuous industrial operation.
The plant usually stands behind the shaft on a steel platform so muck skips can still pass.
Filtrate returns to the slurry tank; make-up follows the water that leaves with the cake.
Pumps and the hydraulic unit are specified around the working hours your permit allows.
Yes — the containerised configuration is designed to be lifted and moved between shafts.
The standard configuration stands on a platform of roughly 12 × 6 m. The layout is confirmed against your site drawing before the plant is built.
